The mission of Stretto di Messina S.p.A.<\/strong> is based on the primary objective of designing, building, and managing the Strait of Messina Bridge in an efficient, safe, and sustainable manner. The company, qualified as in-house<\/strong> pursuant to DL 35\/2023, operates under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, thus ensuring constant and transparent public control.<\/p>\n

The core of the mission is twofold: on one hand, the construction of the most ambitious engineering project ever designed in Italy; on the other, the enhancement of the economic, social, and cultural benefits it can generate. The Messina Bridge is not just a transport infrastructure, but a symbol of connection and progress<\/strong>, destined to impact the development of Southern Italy and the country’s international image.<\/p>\n

From a technical standpoint, the concessionaire is committed to ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. The Strait area is characterized by high seismicity and complex environmental conditions: the corporate mission therefore includes the constant search for cutting-edge engineering solutions capable of combining structural resistance, aerodynamic efficiency, and environmental sustainability. The company pays particular attention to respecting the territory and mitigating environmental impact, promoting scientific studies and continuously updated monitoring systems.<\/p>\n
