Roles and Mission

Eurolink Consortium

Eurolink represents one of the most significant entities in the field of large infrastructure projects in Italy and Europe. It was created to unite the skills of major Italian and international companies in construction and engineering, with the goal of tackling complex challenges through an integrated, technologically advanced, and sustainability-oriented approach.

Its mission is to design and build strategic infrastructures of national importance, capable of generating economic, social, and environmental value for the territories involved. Eurolink is committed to the efficient and transparent management of projects, ensuring quality, safety, and innovation.

As General Contractor for the Messina Bridge, Eurolink plays a key role in the realization of one of the most symbolic and strategic works in Italy. Led by Webuild S.p.A., the consortium includes highly specialized companies in civil engineering, architecture, advanced construction technologies, and logistics.

The Bridge represents one of Europe’s most ambitious infrastructure challenges. Eurolink’s goal is to create a stable and safe connection between Sicily and Calabria, improving territorial integration, mobility, and competitiveness across Southern Italy. The project will also have a major impact on employment and the environment, using cutting-edge technologies and low-impact construction methods.

Eurolink’s main objectives include:

  • Integrated management from executive design to construction and testing;

  • Coordination of all technical and operational expertise;

  • Compliance with schedules, costs, and contractual quality standards;

  • Adoption of sustainability and safety practices throughout all project phases.

Eurolink thus stands as a central player in the development of an infrastructure destined to reshape Italy’s engineering landscape, with a vision oriented toward innovation, Southern growth, and modernization.
